Accounting Manager / Accountant Manufacturing

Salary $90,000 – $100,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Memphis, TN area

A leading manufacturing company needs a skilled Accounting Manager for their plant. Youll report to the Site Controller and work extensively with the management team preparing financial statements & their analysis. Youll be a significant team member supporting the reconciliation of the general ledger, balance sheet accounts, and in the month end close process.

Youll manage the accounts payable process and work with cross functional teams including Purchasing / Supply Chain, Distribution, Sales & Customer Service.

Youll need experience with corporate accounting processes, multiple plant integration, and the standard costing process. Youll need to have the drive to be accurate, the ability to meet deadlines, be well-organized, and able to communicate well with an extensive group.

Minimum requirements for this Accounting Manager position:

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Econ, or BBA

At least 5 years of accounting experience that includes cost accounting, A/P, & A/R in a manufacturing environment

Must be proficient in Excel.
