Attorney – Trucking/Transportation Litigation (43555)

Our client, a growing Houston area law firm, has an urgent need for an experienced Trucking/Transportation Litigation Attorney to join their firm on a permanent/direct hire basis. This position can be a Sr. Associate or Partner level position. The ideal candidate will have experience taking depositions and making oral arguments, as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills. Duties include independently managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. Regularly handle court appearances and depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

7 or more years of experience in the practice areas of trucking/transportation/18 wheeler litigation is required.

Experience with products liability, premises liability, auto liability, bad faith, or wrongful death is a plus.

Candidates must have excellent verbal communication, research and writing capabilities, in addition to deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience in the State and Federal courts.

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Texas bar license, in good standing.

Trial experience required.

Legal project management experience is helpful.
