Complex Lead Space Coordinator

This position is responsible for executing sales and revenue management inventory strategy processes to optimize function space to deliver incremental revenue opportunities that improve the Hotels financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

The position will collaborate with the Sales, Events, and Revenue Management teams through the Director of Sales, Director of Revenue Management and Directors of Events and Catering to ensure revenues are optimized, while placing large emphasis on forecast accuracy principles and procedures that are the core responsibility of each manager within the sales, events, and revenue management teams. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    -Conduct weekly space audits

    -Conduct weekly program due date audits

    -Analyze and release space once an official group program is received and input into system

    -Ensure future definite group programs are received in a timely manner per the terms of the sales agreement

    -Identify space conflicts and coordinate with Sales/Event Managers to manipulate existing bookings

    -Work in collaboration with Sales/Event Managers to proactively move or release function space from existing definite groups to allow for additional bookings

    -Manage citywide space commitments for affiliate bookings

    -Improve commitments of rooms to space ratios

    -Improve management of layering groups

    -Release space for lost and cancelled events in a timely manner

    -Effectively communicate space releases to Sales/Events team, with an emphasis on peak seasons and critical needs periods
