Data Scientist Level IILocation : Austin TexasClient: Austin EnergyExp: Minimum 12+ Years Must Candidates Must Located in Texas Only WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required) BS, MS, or PhD in a numerical analysisrelated field of study (statistics, computer science, mathematics, computer engineering) Minimum 2 years of professional experience conducting data science projects in a professional or research environment Prior experience leading projects from conception to completion including iteration and QA concepts Proficiency and demonstrated experience in all phases of the data science life cycle working with real-world datadata compilation, data exploration, feature selection and engineering, training and testing of statistical or ML models, and communication of results Proficiency in R or Python, ability to craft complex queries and analysis using SQL Experience building reporting and analytics dashboards in Tableau or related visualization platform. Minimum Requirements: Professional experience as a data analyst, developer, or data scientist. Professional experience creating statistical or machine models to execute forecasting based on disparate and unfamiliar datasets. Coding and release experience using bash, Python, and/or other common languages. Building dashboard and reporting suites keeping stakeholders and consumers in mind through the design and iteration phases. Experience working with, analyzing, and testing a deeper analytical hypothesis using utility or energy- related data sets Working within a cloud infrastructure, confidence to be own devOps support alongside other experts WORK HOURS AND LOCATION : Work Hours : 8-4PM CTLocation: 2500 Montopolis Drive, Austin, TX 78731 NOTE: Remote work flexible, however must be prepared and able to attend onsite meetings as required, minimum 2 per month, up to 2 days a week in office if needed.
