Description: Digital Business Analyst
Position Summary
The Digital Business Analysis is responsible for identifying client s digital needs and developing solutions to meet those needs, based on consumer insight and data. This role works in combination with other business analysts on the Digital team and technical team members to drive the development of new solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall project strategic direction and guidance for a portfolio of projects, engaging key stakeholders and technical resources along the way
Is an influential voice on behalf of the customer (our consultants and their clients) constantly thinking about their needs and the reflection of those needs in the products we deliver
Manages projects by defining and achieving project outcomes and meeting project key performance metric targets.
Leads small multidisciplinary teams to help build enabling features that are beneficial to our clients and the digital client journey.
Working with the development team, to create and manage a digital road-map
Actively accountable for project status, resourcing, budgeting and timelines, in concert with the PMO and project managers, and set priorities for the project team
Prioritize new features/development and integrating the new capabilities into the business
Wokrs with shared design resources to Produce visual prototype and wireframes
Manage stakeholders, other Business Owners and IT to translate client needs into projects and then into user stories, business requirements and technical requirements
Establishes successful collaboration models with business and functional leadership teams;
Required Qualifications
10+ years working experience in digital solutions development, business analysis and/or project management in fast-paced, demanding environment
Self-directed and results driven with demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute on digital projects and solutions
Experience translating client needs and facilitating stakeholder input into business requirements
Ability to engage senior leaders and key stakeholders around recommendations and elicit feedback, buy-in and approval
Experience leading complex, cross functional projects
Strong knowledge of digital solutions life cycle and iterative development processes
Bachelor s degree in Business and/or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Experience with various technologies
Solid Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the financial services industry and Wealth management. Understanding the Financial Advisor role and how technology is leveraged to support their practice a plus.
MBA or Graduate Degree a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA CBAP) certifications a plus
Management/Strategy professional services consulting experience preferred
Top Skills Details: 1) 10+ years of experience in technical business analysis
2) Expertise supporting digital solutions (i.e. working with dev teams to create and manage roadmaps for digital products, working with UX or design teams to product visual protoypes and wireframes)
3) Expertise with Agile, specifically in creating epics and user stories
Soft Skills:
– Must be able to tactfully operate in a highly matrixed environment. This person may not have any direct reports, but will support projects with 50+ people on them.
– Must be able to participate in meetings with the most senior people in the company, and effectively articulate issues and mitigations, ultimately synthesizing detail at the project level to have a discussion about what really matters.
