Director of Sales – Oil & Gas Automation Technology

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a hands-on Director of Sales Oil & Gas Automation for our innovative technology automation client headquartered in Texas. The role is REMOTE with up to 40% travel within North America as necessary.



Responsibilities:



  • Acquire and develop new upstream and midstream oil & gas customer prospect opportunities for the company to meet annual revenue and growth targets

  • Establishing and managing executive and operations management relationships and a deep understanding of clients business challenges

  • Playing a lead role in sales process on targeted prospects

  • Leading negotiations with clients including sale and subscription sales options

  • Dealing with sophisticated products requiring a knowledge of data analytics and companys product offerings




Requirements:



  • Bachelors Degree in a technical field preferred

  • 10+ years of professional experience in combination of oil & gas sales and/or operations with commercial experience in Technology Solutions (Oil & Gas sector clients)

  • Strong technical operations and process knowledge (upstream and midstream) required

  • Experience with Technology Sales to the oil & gas marketplace required

  • Extensive current executive / operations management / procurement management level contacts within oil & gas upstream and midstream clients in North America required

  • Experience with oilfield chemical sales and product life cycle understanding within the oil & gas sector preferred




BASE SALARY OF $140K – $175K DOE PLUS COMMISSION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE
