Qualifications required: Knowledge of Federal Emergency Management and Continuity laws, directives, and guidance. Ability to interpret and implement guidance regarding risk assessments. Extensive communication skills in writing a variety of documents and reports; oral skills to foster collaborative working relationships with EOC staff and other stakeholders; and work proactively to meet goals and objectives. Experience with managing resources; and ability to review and assess plans and guidance. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn processes and concepts related to emergency management (National Incident Management System – NIMS).
