ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying engineering concepts, principles and practices applicable to a range of engineering disciplines (i.e, civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental) required for the design, layout, execution processes of construction operations in order to provide input on construction projects; 2) Making recommendations to resolve problems encountered during construction operations to ensure compliance of safety requirements. 3) Reviewing technical engineering specifications, drawings and statement of work covering complex and diverse engineering designs; 4) Monitoring construction projects to a safe, successful and timely completion. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
