ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing and reviewing outage requests; 2) Reviewing Facilities Support work plans and specifications for requirements of outages, lay down areas, and closures; 3) Monitoring outages from start to finish; 4) Providing detailed briefings on facilities projects related to utilities outages; and 5) Reviewing and recommending approval/disapproval of utilities outages requests. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating and reviewing outage requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; 2) Reviewing work plans and coordinating all aspects of impacts caused by work; 3) Assisting in presenting data/proposals to customers to support scheduled outages or facilities support; 4) Approving/Disapproving, coordinating, and promulgating site/space utilization of Facilities Work Lay down Areas; and 5) Assisting in the development of business care analysis used to plan and coordinate current and future course of actions related to utilities/facilities support.
