To be eligible at the GS-09 level, you must have one of the following: A. At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as coordinating litigation support services (including trial preparation and presentation) in response to customer needs; preparing trial databases with trial exhibits and syncing audio with transcripts; utilizing Information Technology to develop data and graphics representation of evidence in a courtroom setting; utilizing processing tools for paper as well as electronically stored information to prepare documents for review and discovery purposes; loading discovery materials into review platforms; providing assistance to litigation teams on legal automation requirements and systems capabilities to facilitate litigation decisions, trial preparation and presentation. B. Possess one of the following types of education in a related field (e.g. Information Science, Engineering, Computer Science): a Master’s or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree AND this education is either in one of the following fields OR provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the following fields and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management. C. A combination of specialized experience as described in A and graduate education as described in B which when combined equals 100% of the requirements (only graduate education in excess of one full year is creditable). Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
