Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using multiple IT-related disciplines (Security, System Administration, Customer Service, Policy and Planning, and/or Systems Analysis) to support an Enterprise Land Mobile Radio program; 2) Assessing health and readiness of an Enterprise Land Mobile Radio communication system using system clients and applications to identify deficiencies and formulate mitigating strategies; and 3) Using Radio Frequency transmission techniques, wireless data communication techniques, Land Mobile Radio Trunking systems to support First Response Forces communication systems. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Plan, design, and integrate server systems consistent with existing or planned data center infrastructures. 2. Customer Service – Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Advises and assists customers with technical aspects of the requirements determination, documentation, and justification process. 3. Oral Communication – Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provides technical guidance to assist in preparation of documentation in support of the acquisition of services/materials and keeps the supervisor informed of progress and potentially controversial matters. 4. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Performing a wide variety of duties requiring the application of many different and unrelated processes and methods to a broad range of IT activities or to the in-depth analysis of IT issues.
