Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 11-13 grade level or NP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expert knowldege of new technologies and advances in oceanographic sensors and hydrographic surveying; 2) Expert knowledge of manual and automated techniques for analysis of airborne and space based environmental reconnaissance; 3) Expert knowledge of geographic information system tools and related software applications; 4) Skill in the management of long-term, broadly based scientific research programs including workforce development and marketing of research and development; and 5) Ability to supervise a group of scientists, assess their performance, and create employee development and improvement plans.
