This position is an interdisciplinary position. The final classification of the position is based on the qualifications of the employee selected and is recorded on the position description once the position is filled. The subject position requires professional knowledge of scientific or engineering principles, practices, techniques, methods, and concepts in one or several of the following professional groups: 0801/General; 0830/Mechanical; 0850/Electrical; 0854/Computer; 893/Chemical. In addition to basic requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer evaluating technical data to identify risks and safety requirements for projects or programs.
