Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating IT system activities such as design, development, deployment or maintenance in order to develop plans and procedures for enhancement of enterprise architecture or policy framework. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1. Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Reviewing and obtaining consensus on proposed changes to existing policies or new policies with stakeholders. 2. Customer Service – Works with clients and customers. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Promoting awareness of security issues among management and ensures sound security principles are reflected in the organization’s vision and goals. 3. Oral Communication – Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Preparing briefing materials and supports SPCIO in briefing SSP senior leadership in matters related to the incumbent areas of responsibilities. 4. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Identifying lack of policies and processes in the selected information management focus areas to assists the Data Steward in these areas to resolve the deficiencies.
