FM Global is looking for an individual who will primarily conduct in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels primarily in Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.

The Jurisdictional Consultant is responsible for learning and developing the skills required to manage, inspect, evaluate and consult with Clients at a variety of basic insured locations for jurisdictional purposes. These evaluations are conducted to verify equipment conditions are in compliance with Jurisdictional Regulations and FM Global Standards.
This position requires possessing or obtaining a National Board and state/provincial jurisdictional certifications, commissions, or licenses. Any additional training and experience required for obtaining certifications, commissions, or licenses will be provided.
The individual will receive training as necessary (i.e. Pre-Exam Course offered by National Board or Ivy Tech) in order to obtain the National Board In-Service commission, and state/provincial jurisdictional certification/commissions or license. Additional support courses may be included as requirements may dictate.
The position requires the individual to meet National Board In-Service commission qualification requirements Rules for Commissioned Inspectors (RCI-1 NB-263, National Board In-Service Inspector Training Program (NB-380), obtain a passing score on the National Board Exam and meet state/provincial certification requirements.
2+ years experience in boiler and pressure vessel construction and inspection, mechanical and electrical equipment, understanding of management systems and good understanding of nondestructive methods and results.
National Board and state/provincial jurisdictional certifications, commissions, or licenses obtained
Multiple jurisdictional certifications a plus
An associate degree from a 2-year technical/vocational school, or a high school diploma with technical working knowledge of boiler machinery equipment.
Ability to obtain National Board and state/provincial jurisdictional certifications, commissions, or licenses within on the allowable timeframe for the specific jurisdiction.
Ability to travel approximately 30%
