LEAD IT PROJECT MANAGER (INFOSEC)

Basic Requirements: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. For GG-14: For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. AND Qualifying Experience for GG-14: Positions at GG-7 (or equivalent) and above require one year of qualifying experience at the next lower GG-grade (or equivalent). Qualifying experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience as a Team Lead for both contractor and civilian personnel. Experience in providing advice and assistance in the areas of Project Management. Experience in Cybersecurity Service Operations. Experience in briefing Senior leadership and large audiences.
