About your role as a Personal Care Assistant: You will provide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning helping them strive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose. You will work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home.
-Flexibility is required. This position may work weekends and holidays.
-We currently have a part time and full time 2 nd shift available as well as part time 1st shift.
-Starting pay ranges from $11-$13 per hour.
-This position may also be eligible for a sign on bonus!
-Provide exceptional Personal service and daily care to residents.
-Communicate effectively with residents, staff management and families.
-Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
-Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
-Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident’s needs.
-Assists in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and documents meal intake.
-Knows proper technique for first aide.
-Completes documentation of medication reminder.
-Assists in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents.
-Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
-Assists residents to and from activities.
-Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.

-You are proficient in using a computer.
-You are organized and self-motivated.
-Previous experience in an assisted living facility a plus.
-Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with peers, visitors, and supervisor.
-You can read and interpret work instructions.
-Ability to apply basic math skills.
-Ability to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment.
-You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
-You are flexible and able to pivot when priorities shift
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus, but not required.
Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical (completed by our Nurse Practitioner) and background check.
