Remittance Processing Specialist I – Owns the day to day responsibility for equipment operation, manual extraction/batching, or other sorting/processing functions.
May perform duties in the following areas:
Machine Operator/Mailroom Associate – Operates Mail Extraction Equipment to group work into processible batches. Operating a variety of scanning and mail sorting equipment including I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, Falcon.
Batching – Open envelopes, extract transactions, batch checks, invoice and coupons according to client instructions.
Dispatch Operator – Performs a quality review on all outgoing items including HIPAA clients and prepares outgoing packages for low/medium complexity remittance customers. Prepare daily reconcilement and billing reports.
Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes as the business evolves
Attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Flexibility to work weekends
High School diploma or equivalent required
18+ years of age
Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
Able to stand for long periods of time (is this required)
Prior experience with Lockbox or Remittance Processing, including I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, Falcon.
Technical or Associates level education
