Our employees are not only part of history, they are making history. Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as Systems Engineer based out of Boulder, CO. You will be responsible for ensuring design requirements at the system, subsystem, and component level are defined and implemented. Work will include coordinating with technical teams to understand at a high-level the complex, multi-disciplinary problems, software components, and designs implemented by the team; in addition to planning and coordinating team projects, team reviews, and customer demonstrations. You are expected to communicate technical information effectively and clearly as a technical interface to the customer, and report status to colleagues including customers and program management. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage and control program and system requirements, documentation, and deliverables
Analyze the needs of the system and translate into verifiable performance and design requirements
Support technical proposal activities
Drives the engineering process development, continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives within their program

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Control Account Management
Experience developing traditional Systems Engineering documentation and products
9 years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related discipline; 7 years of related experience with a Master s degree in Engineering or related discipline
DoD Top Secret clearance that is or has been active within the last two years
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to travel on occasion (10% max) to Northrop Grumman and customer locations
Salary Minimum for Colorado location: $125,488 – Salary Maximum for Colorado location: $188,232 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
