Salary: $125k-$140k + 15% bonus

Location: Hybrid role in either location

Dallas, TX/Chicago, IL

Looking for a Technical Project Manager with experience in driving application development projects preferably in Python/DevOps teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Scrum or Kanban Delivery
• 2+ years of experience with Atlassian Jira and confluence
• 2+ years of experience working with Software Delivery Teams
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Project Management Institute’s (PMI)’s, or Agile Certified Professional (ACP) certification(s)
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• SAFe certification or experience, or other scaled agile frameworks

Responsibilities

• Support one or more software engineering team using agile processes
• Ensure team maintains focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Lead Agile methodology, including sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives, and daily standups
• Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress
• Is well managed – understands and coaches the team on delivery controls, compliance to minimize operational, and reputational risk
• Understands domain architecture and upstream/downstream dependencies
• Supports team automation (testing, pipelines, deployments)/DevOps journey
• Supports team to remove impediments and manage dependencies for delivery
• Coaching and Continuous Improvement
• Integrates Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work products
• Coaches Product team on backlog refinement and prioritization
• Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve
• Innovates with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their delivery
