Technical Sales Rep – Process Instrumentation (1735)

Our client is a world leader in laboratory equipment and services and has an opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative for its industry leading analytical instrumentation used in R&D laboratories. This position will be covering Nd, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI and IL with an ideal candidate living in the Chicago area but locations near major airports will be considered.


Requirements:


  • 2+ years of experience in capital equipment sales, analytical instruments or Process Instruments preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Bachelors in a natural sciences or engineering.

  • Availability for frequent overnight travel (50-60%).

  • Valid driver’s license and passport



Compensation Package:



The base salary range for this position is $86,000/y to $97,000/y depending on experience. Commission plan is uncapped, pays monthly from dollar one and accelerates after reaching goal. Monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement. Company also offers full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years. Potential sign on bonus opportunity.
