IT SPECIALIST (DATAMGT)

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the OR-53 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-52 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience working with information systems used in the collection, transformation, presentation, management, and use of financial market and analytical data for analysis; AND Experience using SQL and Python or Java to manage financial market or analytical data and metadata; AND Experience working directly with data users and Information Technology specialists to document and provide technical business requirements, data architectures, and data onboarding and validation to facilitate delivery of identified data needs. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the OR-52 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-51 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience working with information systems used in the collection, transformation, presentation, management, or use of financial market or analytical data for analysis; AND Experience using SQL or Python or JAVA to manage financial market or analytical data and metadata; AND Experience supporting data users or Information Technology Specialists to document and provide technical business requirements, data architectures, and data onboarding and validation to facilitate delivery of identified data needs. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the OR-51 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-43 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience in an educational or work environment working with financial market or analytical data and metadata; AND Experience in an educational or work environment using analytical software such as SQL or Python to manage financial market or analytical data and metadata; OR Experience in an educational or work environment working directly with data users to document and provide technical business requirements, data architectures, and data onboarding and validation to facilitate delivery of identified data needs; OR EDUCATION: You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the OR-53, you must have been at the OR-52 level for 52 weeks.
