INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing IT and control systems programs to assess overall compliance with cybersecurity plans, policies, and alignment with business and mission requirements; 2) Maintaining an organization’s cybersecurity program that includes cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives, policies, cybersecurity personnel, and cybersecurity processes and procedures; 3) Providing assistance in drafting, modifying, and maintaining an organization’s core cybersecurity policies; 4) Tracking and performing cybersecurity related tasks associated with assessment and authorization activities for IT and control systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. **NOTE: This experience must be fully supported by the information in your resume.** Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2200/information-technology-it-management-series-2210-alternative-a/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
