You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience for GS-07: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) coordinating preventative maintenance and safety of equipment; 2) using surveying techniques and guidelines; AND 3) Working in a team environment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Specialized Experience for GS-08: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Using surveying techniques and guidelines; 2) Analyzing and interpreting field data results; AND 3) assisting with preventative maintenance and/or safety procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Specialized Experience for GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Using surveying techniques and guidelines; 2) Operating, troubleshooting, and/or maintaining a wide range of field surveying instruments; AND 3) Coordinating survey operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
