INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ SCIENTIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a wide range of regulations in the form of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Military Standards, policies, directives, and the applicability of these documents to assignments; 2) Experience with current engineering technology as it pertains to simulation and training systems. Focusing on computer hardware technology; computer software technology; computer networking technology; modeling and simulation technology; real-time simulation techniques; and integration of subject-matter technology related to: interoperability technology; visual systems; sensor modeling; environmental representation; 3) Performing systems engineering functions related to training systems acquisition; 4) Planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined project team within a matrix and Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment in the acquisition of complex training systems (planning work tasks, establishing milestones, identifying resources, assigning tasks to other team members, coordinating inputs of other team members); 5) Making oral presentations or leading discussions dealing with technical issues; preparing technical or staff reports.
