Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, implementing, and maintaining a new and expanding network; 2) Managing complex and multifaceted projects from inception to completion; 3) Solving complex network issues expeditiously maximizing uptime for customers; 4) Communicating effectively to supervisors, team members, and customers in verbal and written formats; and 5) Leading a diverse team of professionals. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Preferred certifications but not required: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Juniper Networks Certified Associate – Junos (JNCIA-Junos) SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional/Expert (ACMA/ACMP/ACMX) VMWare Certified Technical Associate – Network Virtualization (VCTA-NV) Any of the following are desired but not mandatory: Two years of network administration experience Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field. Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and/or Horizon View. Experience with Microsoft productivity tools, especially Office 365, Visio, and Teams. Experience with on-prem and cloud-based servers. Experience with backup software. Experience with network monitoring software. Experience with switches, firewalls, and wireless networks and their associated management software, especially Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, and VMware.
