Job Title: Accountant

Location: Oklahoma City

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.




• Perform monthly reconciliations of fixed asset accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.




• Prepare and record journal entries related to fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.




• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.




• Conduct variance analysis for fixed assets and identify areas for improvement.




• Support the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.




• Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.




• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.




• Proven experience in fixed assets accounting and general accounting functions.




• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.




• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.




• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
