Cannot qualify based on education for the GS-12 level. Experience: You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the competencies listed below: 1. Attention to Detail – Performs testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, maintenance of resources used for the transmission of information in data, voice and/or video format. Ensures systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency. 2. Customer Service – Provides customer support services including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training in response to user requirements. 3. Oral Communication – Coordinates support services in response to customer needs. Develops standards and procures for applications and coordinates efforts with team members. 4. Problem Solving – Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. AND Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal service. Qualifying experience involved ability to determine the most appropriate principles, practices and methods to apply in all phases of assignments, including the approach to be taken, degree of intensity, and depth of research in management advisories needed to complete automated litigation support requests. This would include knowledge of database creation and utilization (using programs such as IPRO Eclipse SE Admin/Desktop, CloudNine Law, Relativity, Everlaw); electronic data acquisition and processing; pre-trial and trial support, including courtroom presentation services (using programs such as TrialDirector). Selective Placement Factor: A selective placement factor is determined to be essential for successful performance in this position. Those candidates who do not meet the following selective placement factor will be rated “not qualified” for the position. Selectee must have demonstrated experience loading, processing, managing, and producing electronically stored information (ESI) in eDiscovery platforms.
