INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing and providing security of information systems in an effective, interoperable, scalable, reliable, integrated and affordable fashion; Experience administering information assurance (IA) programs to support the operation of information technology (IT) networks or infrastructures; Experience conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems; Experience Identifying vulnerabilities and risks and implementing corrective actions to mitigate and minimize potential threats or risks; Experience conducting diagnostic checks and routine detailed reviews to trouble shoot network and standalone security posture and performance to identify and isolate issue of potential system failures.
