Job Description for the Inside Sales Associate:

A growing publishing company is seeking an initiative-taking and productive Inside Sales Associate to join a dynamic team. As an Inside Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. You will be trained to utilize ACT! and Multichannel Order Manager software to efficiently manage customer interactions and orders. Additionally, this role involves occasional travel to conferences.

Responsibilities for the Inside Sales Associate:

• Handle customer inquiries and provide product information via phone, email, and other communication channels.




• Process orders, returns, and exchanges promptly and accurately using designated software.




• Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively address customer needs and concerns.




• Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote our products and services.




• Attend conferences and events to represent the company and generate sales leads.




• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding sales and customer service.




• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer issues and improve processes

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience (3+ years).




• Strong communication skills with above-average documentation, grammar, analytical, and computer skills.




• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.




• Comfortable making an average of 30+ calls during an 8-hour workday.




• Ability to adapt and learn new software and processes quickly.




• Curiosity and patience to build and maintain trust with customers and colleagues.




• Valid driver’s license required.

* Compensation for the Inside Sales Associate: :is $20/hour possibility of an Annual Bonus

* Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
