Basic Requirement: You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: 1) Attention to Detail -thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail; 2) Customer Service – worked with IT internal and external customers assessing their needs, and resolving their problems; 3) Oral Communication – making clear and convincing oral presentations; listening to others, and responding appropriately; 4) Problem Solving – analyzing IT complex problems; determining accuracy and relevance of information; utilizing sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND Specialized Experience:
GS-13: To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level which includes, expert knowledge of Data Center Information Management (DCIM) tools and Service Level Agreements (SLA) monitoring; experience with data center infrastructure operations, maintenance and enhancements, and/or acquisition strategy, funding, and deploying applicable technologies for future systems; contributing towards guidance for customer relationship management (marketing) and meeting customer requirements; AND coordinating compliance and reporting for Office of Management and Budget (OMB) directives such as Data Center Optimization Initiatives (DCOI) and Cloud Smart, and/or commercial Cloud computing environments. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
