Job Description: Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company that values professionalism, innovation, and excellence. While a CPA qualification is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000, depending on the candidate’s level of experience.


  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

  2. General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Review and post journal entries. Monitor and analyze account variances.

  3. Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments as necessary.

  4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis.

  5. Tax Compliance: Prepare and review tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax. Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and ensure compliance.

  6. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.

  7. Internal Controls: Assess and enhance internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

  8. Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of external audits. Prepare and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

  9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices and automation tools where applicable.

  10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive management, to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA qualification is preferred but not required.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
